Today they had a special side: creamed corn, but with lots of fresh-cracked black pepper. Outstanding!

“Houston is a great city to try all the different BBQ restaurants. Roegels is a definite must to try. It is cafeteria style where the meat is cut to order and comes with a great selection of sides. There isn’t one thing that I can say negative about this place.I have tried the brisket, ribs, pulled pork and lamb ribs – WOW!!!!”

Absolutely incredible barbeque, some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The brisket was incredibly tender, but wasn’t dry in the least. Pork belly was perfectly salty and tasty – think smoked bacon and that was what it tasted like. Great service and a really clean restaurant. Would go back there in a heartbeat to eat again. Highly recommend.

This has to be the best BBQ spot in all of Houston (if not TX). It was highly recommended by my tour guide, and the beef brisket and pulled pork sandwich were both delicious. The service was also excellent, and they allow for free re-fills. I would definitely return for future trips to Houston, and I would recommend to anyone looking for authentic BBQ in the city.
